Simba’s brand had strong foundations, but its visual language lacked consistency and flexibility across digital platforms.
Simba Technologies approached us to refresh their digital presence without losing the recognisable, friendly character at the heart of their brand.
In particular, the logo, typeface and colour palette weren’t working as a cohesive system – making it harder to build a consistent identity online. The website didn’t fully reflect the strength of the brand, and social content was consistent but lacked engaging elements.
We refined the existing identity into a cohesive, scalable visual system. The lion logomark was simplified and strengthened, becoming the foundation for a flexible brand device inspired by the lion’s mane – used across layouts and graphic elements to create consistency.
A refreshed colour palette and modern typefaces added clarity and contrast, yet retained the brand’s warmth and approachable nature. This language was applied to brand collateral and social media. The outcome is an identity system that is stronger and more effective.
