Getting Things Off The Ground with Orfonyx Bio

We were approached by Orfonyx Bio to support them in developing branding, a stationery suite and one-page website to help them establish themselves as a new class of genetic medicines for protein upregulation.

The process began with a discovery call to find out more about who Orfonyx Bio are and what their mission is, both as a business and through their brand strategy. We often like to start the branding process with a get to know you call so we can understand what approach to take and what opportunities there are for visual resonance and impact.

Once we had all the information we needed to get started our design team began creating initial logo concepts. Inspired by discussions and research, a collection of different icons were created which encapsulated the solutions Orofnyx have developed.

After presenting the concepts to Orfonyx with variations of colours and typefaces, we went through two rounds of changes, factoring in preferences and feedback from the decision makers within the business.

Branded marketing collateral and stationery mockups for a life science brand designed by Identity Creative

Once Orfonyx Bio were confident we had created the right visual identity that represented them, we progressed with a stationery suite to follow suite, including a letterhead and PowerPoint template. The next step was to develop a website.

Orfonyx now had all the physical pieces they needed to establish themselves within the industry, however the final piece was a digital presence. Working with the team we created a compressed yet informative single page website which includes four essential sections to introduce the business, explains their innovation, talks about who they are and gives site viewers a chance to get in touch. As a seed funded start-up, Orfonyx didn’t need a large website for launch, however their brand identity and assets gives them the tools to expand and grow.
