Returning to Anglia Ruskin University for the Creative Industry Marketplace

This week, Scarlett, our Junior Graphic Designer and Adam, our Senior Graphic Designer at Identity Creative were back at Anglia Ruskin University where they both studied BA (Hons) Graphic Design.

Why Local Businesses Work with Us

We were invited to participate in the Creative Industry Marketplace, which was an insightful event bringing students and professionals together from across design, media and film. This presented us with an opportunity to speak with current students who were looking to take their first steps into the creative industry and offer advice and support.

We also participated in the Portfolio Clinic as part of the day, which provided one-to-one feedback and advice on students’ portfolios. It was great to see the creativity, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas coming through and to help guide students on how to best showcase their skills to potential employers and clients.

At Identity Creative, we are passionate about helping the next generation of designers find their voice and confidence in the creative world. Events like these are a great reminder of how far we’ve come, and how much potential there is in the next wave of creative talent.

Having studied at ARU ourselves, it felt special to share what we’ve learned working in the industry, and to support students who are now in the same position we were once in. I loved seeing all the new ideas and having the opportunity to help students figure out what industry or role they might want to go into.”
